The RCA output sockets are pre-amp outputs, so they are variable and track the volume control.
If one needs to daisy-chain a second pair of speakers, it would be advisable to drive them from the first pair, via the RCA outputs, using the volume control of the first to control the overall level.
The volume of the second pair could be adjusted to maintain the desired difference in level, if not the absolute one.
